The Film Detective is an alter ego of Martyna Starosta
Martyna Starosta is a filmmaker and video journalist who traces the impact of social movements. Currently, she is working on a documentary that explores questions of sexual consent through story-telling. Martyna is also a Video/TV news production fellow at Democracy Now! and a correspondent for Waging Nonviolence. She is based in Brooklyn, New York.

Her projects have been presented in numerous festivals, shows and online platforms.
